| It's the hols now and I'm supposed to be doing my work, but... haven't got the mood la. I reconnected my whole circuitry for my mini project. Yet to test it in the lab. Will prolly go down to campus one of these days to test it. I hope it works la. *fingers crossed*
And my dad FINALLY bought a new digicam. I dunno why Nikon, but yeah... he bought a Nikon 4600. Would very much prefer a Panasonic Lumix or Casio Exilim, but... it's a bit pricy and well, whatever brand or model it is... as long as we have one, I'm happy. I got so into it that I simply snapped pics. Even snapped pic of my mini project. Will upload it once I figure out how to make it appear on this blog. Always have trouble with pics on blogs.
I tried to change the layout/background of this blog, but I couldn't. Spent almost 2 hours on the thing and when I was done with it, I couldn't save the changes. Why? 'Cos I have to be a "premium" subscriber of xanga to change the layout. Baka~! Had I known, then I wouldn't spend 2 hours on that. Waste my time only... now, I'm more tempted to switch to blogspot. Dunno la. See if I have the time and mood, I think I'll switch.
Ahhh... yes. The main reason I blogged today: yesterday's events. Overslept in the morning. Thankfully, was still in time to pick Debbie up and go over to Convent class. After class, sent Debbie home (sir tried to persuade her to attend the gathering, but failed) and picked Sze Huey up. Reached Kwang Hwa and was a bit lost upon arrival. Didn't know where the exact venue was. Called Yee Ling and got to know that it was in the hall.
So, Sze Huey, Hui Lin and I went over to the "registration" counter. Was kinda shocked to know that our "entrance fee" was already paid for. Still have not paid Lisa back. :blushed: Have to remember this Saturday. Anyway, we went up the hall, sat with the MGS batch: Lisa, Xin Yee, Jia Huei, Raeyna, Stephanie, April, May Joy and Ee Von.
When we arrived, the performance had already started. Lisa was more or less "kritik-ing" them. Their performance was kinda shocking. Not exactly appropriate for the occasion. In fact, I don't think it was really appropriate for high school kids to perform. Only the dances were a bit ummm... inappropriate (sorry la, my vocab very bad. Can't think of another word). Otherwise, the gathering was good. I mean, it's the first such event to be organized by any school. A round of applause to the Kwang Hwa board.
The games began and we lost in both games The "pass-the-chair" game... we lost quite badly. I thought we were going to be penalized for the loss, but we didn't. In fact, the losers in the "finals" for the game were penalized. And guess who came out with the punishment for them? MGS. So, we speculated that emcee that day has the crush on one of the girls and who else but Lisa? Of course, these are only speculations but it was obvious that Lisa wasn't interested. Like I told April, "I think Lisa has better taste" *no offence to whoever that person is should he stumble upon my bloggy*
The 2nd game was pretty amusing. At least to me la. Each group consisting of about 10ppl form a circle and are sitted on chairs. They'll all lie on each others' laps and then the chairs are removed, on by one. Hands must not touch the floor and basically we depend on each others' "strong" legs to support. There were 3 groups/teams. MGS sent in 5 ppl and the remaining 3 were St John members and 2 others I dunno from where. Our group consists of ALL girls while the other 2 groups consists of ALL guys.
I think you can roughly guess who was the first to be kicked out la. It was fun, nevertheless. My legs were shaking after that. Shows how "strong" my legs are, right? :blushed: Sir took some pics of us that time. Sighhhhh... as usual, I looked weird. If only I could do something to "avoid" from being photographed. SIGHHhhHhhHhhhhHhhhh
The gathering ended at about 1230-1245pm. The gang wanted to go Klang Parade and so we did. But Hui Lin and Sze Huey didn't join us (tiau kei~!) J/k ya... Sent Sze Huey back and picked Jo up. We joined the gang and went to the food court to have our lunch since Xin Yee was having fever and did not want to eat fried food. Bumped into Pam there and later, met Wei Mei together with her bf. Leng lui a lot already... very feminine compared to last time.
Anyway, it was about 315pm when I got home after sending a few of them back. Slept for about 30mins before leaving for MGS class. Mr Yap and Debbie came over to help in the first class. Thank heavens to that~! Otherwise, I'd be so lost there. Collected the grading forms and took the taegeuk 1 kids while Satbeer took the taeguek2 and Jia Huei with Raeyna took the white belt.
I must really thank both Jia Huei and Raeyna for the good job on Sangdeep. Sangdeep's this primary boy whose learning ability is slower compared to the other kids. When I personally checked him after the first class yesterday, I was amazed. When I first took him together with the rest of the current taegeuk 1 kids, he was very left out. He couldn't really follow.
Now, his batch are sitting for their taeguek 1 exam and he has yet to sit for his white belt. But with Raeyna and Jia Huei's help, he has improved A LOT. Am contemplating on letting him sit for his white belt exam. A job well done on Raeyna and Jia Huei's part~! Since I took quite some time checking Sangdeep, Lisa and Debbie helped collect the secondary girls' grading forms. Arigato gozaimasu~!
After checking him, I sorted out the forms and counter-checked the money. Very scary ar.. hold so much money at hand liddat. Anyway, because of all that delay, I didn't join the class in the jogging and "group running" thingy. Actually, I was in time to join them for the "group thingy"... but to be truthful, I was lazy. Yes, I admit to that. I felt kinda bad at the end of the class. Bad example ar Must buck up~! Sighhh.. some kinda black belt I am. Bad, bad Sue Anne....
| I'm BACK~!
Got one week of holiday starting Saturday..... hurray to that~! But then, I've got 3 midterms and 2 assignments and 1 lab report awaiting after the break So, this holiday will turn out to be a non-holiday mood for me. SighhhHhhhHHhhhhh
One of my papers ended earlier on. The paper looked easy, but once we started writing... wah lau eh, the question quite tricky ar. I didn't do that well. But who have I got to blame but myself? Bad, bad Sue Anne...
Ohhh.... went out to a place called F1 in Seri Kembangan/Serdang area. Went there to celebrate Ling and Chu's birthday. There were altogether 11 of us. Reached the place about 1030pm. Ate, chatted, took some pics, cake, took pics, and went home
So, here I am.... packing a bit and blogging a bit. Bringing home my comp back to Klang. Need to do a bit of the assignment. Report, report, REPORT~! Why?? Why must you ruin our hols? *sob* *sob* At one point of time, I was kinda immune to it. But now, I'm SICK of it. *shudder*
Anyway, better ZzzzZzzzzzz soon. Got class 8am-12noon tmr. Need to go Assunta class tmr summore. Have to carry PC up and down too. Definitely need loads of sleep.
| My favourite starting 11 Manchester United team:
Goalkeeper: Van Der Sar
Central Defence: Ferdinand & Silvestre
Left-back and right-back : Heinze & Neville/O'Shea
Central Midfield: Scholes/Fletcher & Keane/Smith
Left flank & Right flank: Ronaldo & Giggs/Park
Forward: Rooney & Van Nistelrooy/Dong/Rossi
The EPL will be starting in about 2 weeks time~! Hurray~! Got matches to watch again. I know my preferred line-up above may be somewhat surprising, but I think that's as good as Man Utd can get. As much as I'm annoyed with Ferdinand, he's good at his position. It's undeniable. Silvestre is a very calm and good defender. Perfect for the heart of Man Utd's defense.
Heinze has done well in his first season with Man Utd. I know the usual other defender that Sir Alex uses is Gary Neville, but I think O'Shea can provide better ball delivery in the opposition's half... which was what he did when he earned his place in the first team. Besides, Neville is getting pretty old. With more games, O'Shea can develop to be a better defender. Plus, he can play midfield role too.
Central midfield MUST have Scholes and Keane. Having Smith take over Keane's role in midfield would be an interesting prospect. I like Smith. He's a good player. Ambitious but calm. It's a pity that he has to fight for a place as a striker in the team. I mean, seriously... compared to Rooney and Van Nistelrooy, I think Smith stands no chance. Not that he's not good as a striker, but Rooney and Nistelrooy's too good. So, grooming Smith in the midfield position would be good.
As for Scholes, I think Fletcher can fill in his boots when he retires. I used to dislike Fletcher 'cos I think he made too many mistakes when he first entered the regular first team. But now, I think he has progressed well and can definitely take over Scholes' place in the near future.
Ronaldo and Giggs is another definite at the flanks. With Ronaldo's pace and fast dribbling, it's impossible to replace him with any other player. He certainly have an effect on Man Utd's game. As for Giggs, my favourite player of all times... he has this vision. I dunno. He reads the game well and can deliver in balls for strikers. But, he's been a lil inconsistent over the last season. Park Ji-Sung is said to be his successor in that field. I've yet to see Park play, but from what I've seen when he played for South Korea back in the 2002 World Cup, I don't think he'll face any problem adjusting to life at Old Trafford.
Having Rooney in the team is definitely a plus point. He's the only player in history who've scored a hattrick on his debut game... a UEFA Champions League game for that matter. Simply awesome player. Van Nistelrooy was good in his first 3 season with Man Utd but has slacken a lil last season due to injuries. In the future, I think Rossi or Dong Fangzhou can take over his place. I saw the goal Dong scored against Hong Kong in the friendlies. Though it wasn't that marvellous a goal, but for a 19-year old, it definitely showed his potential as a striker.
So there you have it. Once it comes to football, I can "yak" a lot. Can't wait for the season opening game against Everton on Aug 13th~! I wanna see Park play. I wanna see Van Der Sar. Ohhh.. talking about him, I think he's a good goalkeeper. He's just a bit old. Perhaps Man Utd's latest buy, Ben Foster will be groomed to take over his place when he retires.
I just hope Man Utd won't face anymore goalkeeper problems. And.. I think they need to find more defenders....Neville, Silvestre, Ferdinand and Heinze have passed the age of 25. They definitely need younger defenders. Okay... back to work. O_o

| Good morning, bloggy~!
I finished my lab report~! Hurray! But I still have one more to go.... Never mind. At least one completed. Don't have to worry about that one anymore
Came back to campus pretty early yesterday. Managed to stroke a bit before the Interfaculty Table Tennis games begin. There are altogether four faculties: Faculty of Engineering (FOE), Faculty of Management (FOM), Faculty of IT (FIT) and Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM). The tournament is a team event where each team/faculty is represented by at least 8 people.
These 8 people consists of 1 male single player, 1 female single player, 2 male doubles players, 2 female doubles players and 1 male and another female in mixed doubles. The rule is that no one player can take part in two categories. I was the only female FOE player there who knows how to play table tennis. The other three were beginners. We had no choice. No one wanted to represent our faculty, I dunno why. So, we roped in whoever we could.
For the first match, we were up against FOM. Since we couldn't rely on the female singles and female doubles to produce a point each, we banked our hopes on male singles, male doubles and mixed doubles. I was in mixed doubles, together with Farid. Since mixed doubles is the deciding match, the pressure was definitely on.
We were up against Teck Leong and Cindy Pua. Teck Leong is a student of my current coach. He's been under her for a VERY long time.. so you can guess how good he is la. As for Cindy, coincidentally, she's the Kwang Hwa Klang girl whom Eve and I met before during MSSD last time. I know she hasn't been playing for quite some time and roughly know her game. It was Teck Leong who I was afraid of.
Farid and I won the first set. Second set went to TL and Cindy. We won back the third set and they manage to level up at the fourth set. Since it was a best of 5 game, the pressure increased at the final set. We were neck-to-neck. The scorecard went like, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7, etc etc... and it went all the way like that till 10-10. Deuce.
Man, everyone was so nervous. We, the players and the crowd. It was a do-or-die situation. Okay, okay.. maybe not to that extent... but you get the picture la. Last year, FOM emerged as champions and at that moment, we could change that if we beat them. BUT, unfortunately... we lost 10-12. Disappointing, but it was a good game. Intensed game, for that matter
Then, we played with FIT. I was again in the mixed doubles. This time, we manage to win with not much difficulty. And finally, I played female singles against FCM. Won that with 4 games to 1. So, overall, FOM won....again~ They beat all three faculties. FOE came in 2nd, followed by FIT and lastly, FCM. It was almost 5pm when the whole thing ended (FYI, it started at about 11am).
Ohhhh.. I forgot to mention.... FIT has this state female singles player who's pretty leng lui ar. Hahahaha... you should see the scenario there. All the guys were like trying to play stroke with her. She's VERY good. It's like, each guy she strokes with, it's usually the guy who ends up hitting the ball out or to the net. Summore so gaya when she stroked. Jealousnya....
Then at night, went for tkd training. Yee Yong conducted. Towards the end of the training session, we had sparring. Since I was the only female, I sparred with Siew Leong. He didn't really kick me at all at the beginning... too gentleman la.... and though he merely defend, I still couldn't kick him *sobs* Each time I kick, he manage to evade. If he counter, I sure kena ady... wahhhhhhhhhhh... my sparring sucks~
Towards the end, when someone (i can't remember who) asked him to kick more, he did kick and we clashed. My foot is slightly bruised now and according to Yee Yong (Siew Leong's roommate), SL oso got a bit of bruise. Sighhh... the consequences of sparring.
Anyway, Eve came to Cyberjaya after our training and we had our dinner-cum-supper together. We all had a good laugh. It would be much better if we had a good meal to go with it. But, unfortunately, when you eat in Cyberjaya... good food is practically non-existent
Okay lah. That's all for today. Got exam on Thursday and I haven't finished studying. SighhHhhhhHHhHHHhhhhhHHHh....
